Use full tips

Keep blinds or curtain closed.
Do not let direct sunlight enter the room when the air-conditioner is in the cooling operation.

Doors and Windows must shut tight.
Avoid frequent opening of the door and windows to keep cool air or the warm air in the room.

Ventilate the room occasionally.
Since windows are kept closed, it is a good idea to open them and ventilate the room now and then

Be sure to turn off the main power before cleaning the air-conditioner.

Cleaning of PP filternet
Keep unit's filter clean. A clean filter is essential for efficient performance. Blockage in the air filter reduce the airflow and lower cooling and upper heating effects. Clean the air filter every two weeks.

Removing Filter
To remove filter lift gently and pull sideways. Vacuum the filter on the dusty side to remove dust. Wash the filter with lukewarm water, if the filter is very dirty, use a mild dry household detergent. Let the filter dry completely before reinstalling it.

Note: Do not touch special filters.


Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner or other chemicals as they cause the paint to peal or cause harm to plastic parts.


Avoid pouring water directly on the Unit for cleaning, it may cause electrical hazard.


If you are installing the air conditioner in a new house then your floor care polishes must have made the floor slippery. Be careful when installing your air conditioner in such conditions. Solvents for carpet cleaning can damage the air conditioner body. Keep your air conditioner covered when getting your carpet cleaned. Do not cover you air conditioner with sisal rug or any thing else during operation.

The air intake and outlet vents on the rear side of the unit (outdoors) are not blocked.


Doors and windows are not open.


The air intake and outlet vents on the front side of the unit (indoors) are not blocked.


  • Use the correct voltage. Using voltage other than that specified will damage the unit. Install a voltage stabilizer of adequate capacity & range considering the voltage fluctuation in your area.
  • Check the power plug. If the power plug is not inserted tightly or if there is any damage to the power cord, it could result in leakage or electrical shock.
  • Use only correct fuses of the proper amperage. If using rewirable fuse, use only the correct fuse wire as fire or electrical hazard may occur.
  • When unplugging the power plug, do not pull it by power cord. The power cord can be damaged & cause electrical shock.
  • Install adequate capacity of air-conditioner in the room to get the maximum cooling comfort. Inadequate capacity will lead to discomfort & increase in electricity bills.
  • Set comfortable temperature. Very low temperature setting considerably increases power consumption.
  • Do not put hands or objects into the discharge grille of the unit. These units have a fan running at high speed. It is very dangerous to touch the fan in running condition.
  • Keep heat source away from the unit; high temperature can cause damage.
  • In summer prevent direct sun light from entering the room; draw curtains or blinds.
  • Do not obstruct the discharge grill of either side of the units. This will decrease air flow, reduce the cooling effect & result in unit malfunction.
  • Do not use any type of sprays on the grill. This may cause color faintness of the discharge grill.
  • Set thermostat to a setting consistent with the comfort level you desire. Once you have determined the setting, do not change.
  • Keep the filter clean. Normally, cleaning once a fortnight should be adequate but depending upon the environment, more frequent cleaning may be necessary. The filter is efficient in trapping airborne particles and no inspection may reveal the need for cleaning.
  • Keeps doors & windows properly shut.
  • Get your window air conditioner installed at a medium height of about 3 ft. to 6 ft. from the floor. This usually gives the optimum air circulation pattern within the room for cooling & heating.

Please note: Even without the above ideas your air-conditioner is designed to by highly energy efficient.
